Jacob's Cycling Dream

A young cyclist with his bike in various settings and times of day.

I am Jacob Glass-Tu, a 16 years old setting myself with the proper guidance and resources  to chase my dreams.

My dreams are to become a professional cyclist and a software engineer.

I outline below my plan and budget for the first phase, and I ask for your financial support to make it possible.

THANK YOU!

THE PLAN

My current objectives are to receive an invitation to the USA Cycling Juniors Talent ID Camp in Colorado Springs in October and to be selected as a member of the USA Cycling Juniors National Team.

In order to accomplish these objectives, I have put together the following plan:

Schooling - I will maintain honor roll and continue to enjoy learning.

Training - I will be guided physically and mentally by coaches Steve Mlujeak and Simon Kessler; by mentors Pablo Santa Cruz and Tom Kerr; and by my Dad and Mom.

Racing - I will participate in the following events:

- April 25-26, Chain of Lakes in Florida. I will like to win both races.

- May 29-31, USA Juniors Cup Tour of North Georgia. I would like to win the GC.

- June 23-26, USA Juniors Cup Tour of Americas Dairyland in Winsconsin. I would like to win 1 and podium in 2 out of the 4 races. This is a national selection event.

- June 27, USA Cycling CRITERIUM Juniors Nationals in Wisconsin.  I would like to podium in this race.

- June 30, USA Cycling ROAD Juniors Nationals in Wisconsin. I would like to podium in this race.

- September 4-7, USA Juniors Cup Green Mountain Stage Race in Vermont. I would like to podium in the GC. This is a national selection event.
